The Millennium Arts Academy
Since it opened its doors in 2003, the mission of Millennium Art Academy high school continues to center on “preparing graduates for the rigors of college, career, and community via artistic, interdisciplinary, and humanistic engagements.” At MAA, our caring faculty and support staff are dedicated to educating and supporting the whole-child via strategic instruction and guided youth-development. We believe that each student has unique talents, and we are dedicated to helping each student realize his or her unique truth within the framework of an intellectually, creatively inspiring, ‘respect for all’, nurturing environment. In essence, at MAA, we believe that character, self-esteem, and academic achievement are indivisible, and we continuously encourage and celebrate growth and achievement in all that MAA students do. We want our students to advance in life with integrity by being empathetically mindful of others while advocating for justice and equality as they prepare for adult independence.
